Repeat Prescriptions - In Store
We offer a repeat prescription service for monthly medication. We can automatically re-order your regular monthly medication for you, allowing you to collect your medicines at a time to suit you when they are due. Just ask for details.
Ask about being added to our free of charge texting service so that we can alert you as soon as your prescription is ready.
Private Prescriptions
We can dispense private prescriptions, but the price depends on the cost of the medication rather than a set charge as for NHS prescriptions. We can also dispense veterinary prescriptions for your pets.
NHS Prescriptions
We are happy to dispense all different types of NHS prescriptions from GPs (including those sent electronically), nurses, dentists and hospital prescribers. Prescriptions remain valid for 6 months (28 days for controlled drugs) from the date specified and cannot be dispensed before this date.
New Medicine Service
The NHS provides a free of charge new medication review service for our patients. This helps ensure that you are taking your new medicine appropriately. We will support you with any questions you may have with regards to these new medicines, their dose, their side effects and much more.
The review is free and conducted in either a private consultaton room or over the telephone in the comfort of your home. It will normally take no longer than five minutes and can give you peace of mind. Please ask at the counter regarding how to access this service.
